This auction is for an old, estate sterling silver ring with a lovely pear shaped teardrop AMETHYST center jewel flanked by two small simulated diamonds! This ring probably dates from the 1960's or 70's and has a very nice retro design. This ring is in EXCELLENT condition and is a size 7.25 (British size between O-O.5)(European size 17.56). It weighs 1.8 grams and the face measures almost three-eighths inch tall (10mm) by about .5 inch wide (12mm) and is marked 925 with a makers hallmark on the inside of the band. The ring is also in the round and there are no dents or disfiguring scratches....no chips or scratches or wear to the jewels either. This is a very beautiful, attractive piece.
