Hello Everyone!!!!!

Thank you for checking out my auction. I am new to MilBid but I was on Ebay for several years though. :-) I enjoyed selling on Ebay but they kept going up on their fees. :-( I finally just stop selling on Ebay becasue I couldn't afford their fees. I wanted to try out a new auction site so here I am. LOL!! I had a wonderful feedback score on Ebay and I hope to start collecting one on MilBid. Smoke Free and Pet Free Home. I am not against smokers or pet lovers. LOL!!! I got asked that question so I just want everyone to know that I have bad allegories so I can't be around smoke or enjoy pets. Usually when I go to ESTATE SALES I have to ask that question. I can't guarantee that anything I buy at the sales are but if nothing bothers me then I would say they are fine. ;-)

DESCRIPTION

These are 4 bars of homemade soap. All together they weight somewhere around 1/2 pound. They have been hand cut and they may not look perfect but it's homemade. They have no fancy wrappers either. The pictures shows how they look and they HAVE NOT been used either. There are 2 bars of the light green color soap. She called it Minty Green Tea. I don't know if that is the scent name or if that is what she just called it. To me it has a nice fresh clean scent to it. Not a over powering scent. Smells really good to me. LOL!!! There are 2 bars of the brown color soap. She called it Citrus Coffee Soap. I don't know if that is the scent name or if that is what she just called it. To me it does have a citrus scent to it but I don't smell coffee though. LOL!!!! To me it has alittle stronger scent then the other one. It smells good too. I believe both of these soaps have natural herbs in them as well. These all were made by hand by one of my bestfriend's mom in her kitchen. I was over their house the other day when she was making some and I was just stun or I guess you could say WOW!!! LOL!!!! I have never seen anyone make soap from scratch before. I have seen the kind you can put in the microwave to melt and then add color too it and pour it. I have seen them in kits in stores before. This IS NOT what she makes.

Her's is made from scratch using a totally different process. Her's doesn't have all of the chemicals like the soap you would buy out of a store. She started making her soap several years ago. One of her daughter's which is one of my bestfriend's has got a skin condition. Soap that you buy out of stores dries her skin out so bad that it causes her skin to itch and turn red so she can't use it at all. It didn't know this till the other day. She always carries a small bar of her mom's handmade soap with her everywhere she goes. She has done that every since I had know her and sometimes I wanted to ask her why but I was always afraid to ask her so I never did. It took me a while to get use to her getting out her mom's soap and washing her hands with it when the restroom usually had soap. LOL!!!! I am use to it now so I don't even think twice about it. LOL!!!! Bless her heart!!! I kinda know how it feels not to be able to use certain beauty products or bath products. I have got allergies so I have to be careful too.

Anyway her mom started making her soap when she was little. Now her mom makes it for the family too. They don't even purchase soap from the store anymore. Her handmade soap is better for the skin anyway. She has did so much research on making soap and has made it for years too. The process she uses is called Cold Process. She uses Olive Oil because it is the best for moisturizing the skin. It is one of the most expensive oils to use in homemade soap too but it is what works best on her daughter's skin. She buys first grade Olive Oil too. They are different grades but use only uses the best quality. She said that she uses about 3 times the normal amount of Olive Oil in her soap. She tries to put as much as she can in her batches because that is what gives the skin it's moisture. Sometimes she uses first quality fragrance oils to scent her soap. Sometimes she uses herbs in her soap too. Also sometimes she uses mica's for color. I think that is what she called it. Anyway, she has to be careful on what she uses to color her soap. Certain dye may not agree with her daughter's skin. Anyway, she only makes small batches at a time. After she mixes everything up, she pours the soap. Then she says she lets her soap cure for 8 weeks. She said cure but when I asked her what that was she said that her soap had to dry or set up for 8 weeks before they could use it. Then in 8 weeks she takes the soap out and cuts it into bars with a sharp kitchen knife. Then it is ready to use. It sounds like a lot for soap doesn't it. LOL!!! I guess she only told me the basic of her soap making. LOL!! She made it look and sound so easy but of course it may be to her because she has made soap for years. Also we just walked in when she was almost ready to pour it too so I don't really know how long it takes her to really get it ready to pour. LOL!!! She said homemade cold process soap was just like wine. It only gets better with time. LOL!!! She said the longer it sets up the harder it gets and the longer it last. She said a few years back she made soap and sold it at craft shows and places like that but she doesn't do that anymore. Her family got larger and she said they needed the space so her selling soap had to go. LOL!!! Making Cold Process Soap takes up alot of room. She said you had to let it cure for 8 weeks and that takes room so she only makes it for her family now.

Now, these are ready for you to use when they arrive. They have at least cured for 8 weeks. This is the same soap she makes for her family. She even gave me a piece of her homemade soap the other day for me to try. I have been using it on my face and it hasn't bothered my allergies either. I love it. I have both dry skin and oily skin on my face. It has actually balanced my skin out on my face. You would think it would make the oily part more oily but it didn't. My whole face is so soft and smooth. Anyway, this is just some extra bars she had. I just asked her if she wanted me to list them on here for her and let someone else try her homemade soap. Now she DOES NOT do any special orders or anything like that. She just really makes soap for her family and that's all.

I am away from the computer so I don't get to check my email but once a day. Sorry about my CAM but it isn't very good at taking pictures. They look much prettier in person.

ALL SALES ARE FINAL! Shipping and Handling is a Flat Rate of $8.55 USPS Priority Mail. USA BIDDERS ONLY. I will COMBINED S&H as long as the auction ends within 3 days apart of each other. I will ship the same day or the day after I receive the payment. Insurance is left up to you and it starts out at $1.70 for $50.00 coverage and it goes up from there. I can't be responsible for the item or items once it leaves my possession so I do recommend the insurance. Also the above quote for S&H is not the exact shipping amount. I have to charge alittle more for packing materials. I just want everyone to understand that. I will do my BEST to describe everything and that includes any flaws that I see. I am not perfect but I will honestly do my best.

At this time, I can ONLY except Money Orders. NO PERSONAL CHECKS because in the past I did have some to bounce and I get charged $25.00 for every bad check I receive so NO PERSONAL CHECKS.
